What to bring!

  • Ability to swim approximately 200m.

    • It doesn’t have to be perfect, we want to ensure campers are safe in the water. We will have a group designated for those who need to develop their swim.

  • Ability to physically exert yourself for 30 minutes.

    • We aren’t expecting world record holders in swim, bike, or run. No judgement! We all start somewhere and realize some may be strong swimmers, but weaker runners. OR strong runners and weak swimmers. We will meet you where you are and bring you forward.

  • Positive attitude and responsible.

    • This means a willingness to try your best. Having your gear and being ready to go on time.

    • Campers are expected to abide by camp rules. Anyone found sneaking out at night, causing problems will be sent home with no refund. We want to provide a fun, positive environment. Therefore, poor behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Cycling.

    • It’s a good idea to take your bike to the bike shop for a tune-up before camp to make sure it is in good working condition.

    • Road bikes are required. Hybrids, TT bikes or Triathlon Bikes are not permitted as we will be working on handling skills, group riding skills and mounting/dismounting skills.

    • If you have some experience riding, you might consider getting shoes designed for triathletes. We will be working on mounting and dismounting. These require pedals to “clip” into. If you don’t have them, no worries. They are encouraged.

    • Water bottle holder, typically one that goes on the frame of the bike. Don’t forget your bottle too!

    • BIKE LOCK- required. Bikes will be stored indoors in the evening.

    • Sunglasses.

    • Helmet in good condition with safety stickers inside.
